Frequently Asked Questions

In the hotel you have free High Speed WLAN Internet access in the rooms as well as in the public areas. You will need access data, which we will be happy to provide upon your arrival.

By train

You reach Zermatt in 3½ hours from Zurich-Kloten and in 4 hours from Geneva-Cointrin. Change trains in Visp.

By car

Drivers park their private automobiles at the Matterhorn Terminal or in a convenient parking garage in Täsch and continue for another 12 minutes by train. Shuttle trains depart every 20 minutes from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm.

You can leave your car in Täsch next to the train station or just a bit further up at Hotel Elite. Let us know if you want us to reserve a parking space for you.

You can leave your luggage free of charge on the day of arrival before your check-in or on the day of departure after your check out.

You can buy your ski pass directly at the ski lift office or order it online here : https://www.matterhornparadise.ch/en. Check this website for ski pass discounts.

You can store your skis and boots in our ski-room, which has a boot dryer. Ski boots and skis are not allowed in the rooms and corridors of the hotel.

Breakfast buffet is served from 7:15 am until 10:00 am.

If you are going out in the evening, please change your room key for the small entrance key on the key board. This opens the door to the main entrance of the hotel. Don’t forget to lock it when you come back at night.

All our rooms have a safe. Please ask for the key at the reception.

Our establishment offers a laundry service. Our reception is at your disposal for any further information.

Skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, via ferrata and lots more. We will be happy to reserve anything you need.
